Looking for new wheels soon
Going to put the 1LE wheels up in the attic for another time, so the replacement wheels will need to be the same size/offset as the 1LE wheels so i can transfer my new tires over.
While I would love to have a true fully forged wheel, not sure the wife is gonna let a $4k set of wheels fly. Seriously considering the HRE Roto-formed wheels since we have the FF01 on the wifes Audi and they have done well. Thinking maybe the FF04 for the Camaro, "IF" I can get them on a discount later this year under the HRE yearly sales. Sub goal of the new wheels is I want them to be lighter than the 29lbs F / 30lbs R for the OEM wheels. Are there any other reputable higher end wheels out there to consider. BC Forge put a call out they would offer some nice discounts on their wheels to get some owners rolling on them, but they are also $1k per wheel as well. Thought about BBS but anything that fits my goal for them is over $1k as well.

i had the ff01 and now on ff04 wheels and love them but i know last year they didnt include them on the yearly sale and they may not be on the sale again but they are worth the money and not too many people have them like other wheel brands out there!

I'm not sure if you've reached out to any one of our dealers like Paul at PK yet who is always active on these boards, but if you haven't reached out already I would get in touch and request a quote The 20x10 fronts weigh 24.60lbs and the 20x11 rears weigh exactly the same, 24.6lbs so we're certainly under the 30lbs mark! BBS is another great brand to consider, they certainly have the reputation and the long standing brand name to give their customers comfort in what they're producing. We feel that we have a better available fitment though considering with BBS you'll have to compromise and go SMALLER than your OEM wheels. The only options that BBS has for Camaro right now would mean you have to downsize your current 20x10 and 20x11 wheels. BBS will only offer you a 20x9, 20x10 and 20x10.5 fitment, there is no 20x11 option I see available on any of their styles. Also of those options which have a front/rear staggered set, I'm only finding options which are over $1400/per wheel so though BBS would be a great option, once you look into it there are no real good sizing options. |

Thanks Carlos @ MMR, I really like some of your wheels but my concern is up until I joined the 6th gen board I had never heard of the MMR company and when I did it was always for the repop wheels which I've seen plenty of stories on the repop wheels failing.
What I like about HRE, BBS, Forgestar, and Forgeline is their name, quality and reputation let me know they will stand behind the wheel if anything happens and they have been around for a long time. Not saying I wouldnt use MMR, but I may have some more in depth questions I need answered before I make that decision.

Here is the wifes Audi SQ5 on the HRE FF01, we really like them and in these wheels also ended up dropping almost 5lbs per corner on her car when we put them on it.
I just dont want to be her twinkie which is why I am looking for another style.

FF04's come in a really awesome fitment for the 6th Gen Camaro, similar to the 1LE specs so you can fill out the fenders with nice wide tires so you can enjoy just that bit more of your ride 20x10 ET23 fronts with 285/30/20 tires and 20x11 ET43 rears with 305/30/20 tires shown here in our IPA finish: |

Just got my MRR Wheels this week...Fabulous dealing with Carlos.
The FS05 turned out beautifully. I get my car back from Weapon-X on Saturday 2nd, and the New Shoes will go on then. |
