Thoughts / Recommendations Rear Tires

new wheels should be in here in a few weeks.

not a daily driver. dont / will never track or drag the car.

drive like a grandpa......cause i am one.

winter is just around the corner

i will be switching the 275's run flats to the front new wheels

looking at:

305 30 20"'s

LEXANI LX-TWENTY

NITTO NT555 G2

i have read quite a bit about the Michelin pilot sports, expensive (twice the cost of the nitto's). they really worth the price?

ideally i would really like a set that would work during the winter colder days. we typically wont get snow here in texas but it does get into the 30's and wet / icy for a few days. i purchased a set of BFG g-Force COMP-2 A/S but returned them since i was going to have to issues w/ the inner fenderwell and wire harness on the driver side. wish they made 30 aspect ratio for those BFG.

any thoughts, recommendations?

If you drive like a grandpa, it's hard to beat the Nitto G2's. They have worked beautifully on my car. I would suggest reaching out to Paul at PK designs to get his recommendation. He will know the best option given your wheel and tire size combo.

i recently picked up a pair of Lexani LX Twenty 305/30/20, and after a lot of people telling me they were solid tires. Im giving it a try. i went the cheaper route because i plan on getting Nito 555s soon but i wanted to experiment how the cheaper Lexani's hold up. They were only $230 for a pair so it doesn't hurt me to experiment. will follow up next week and let you know how they after install tomorrow.
