The car is extremely stable and the frames have a wide footprint, QJ says you can use on a 3% grade safely. I used it on my Tundra with the SUV extensions and it really doesn't lift the truck high enough to be worth the trouble of dragging them out, the trucks ground clearance is so high. Works like a champ on the Camaro and Camry or anything else close to the ground.

They have a mechanical safety, so even if the hydraulic lines or any of the powered components fail, the jack will not collapse.

They are very safe, there are mechanical stops at 1/2 way up and full up... They have a video on their website of the 5000SLX lifting something like 22,000 lbs...

Very, very safe, I use mine all the time on multiple vehicles. Best investment I ever made for working on vehicles!

I have the same garage flooring, what is that pad you have under your QuickJack?

I have purchased the 7000slx. Hopefully they fill fit the factory jack point locations. Some have said it would some have said I need the ext version. I did measure it, if my measurements are accurate the slx version should work. I guess trial and error at this point will do, as the package has arrived today. Worst case scenario I either return them or I buy the extension if they do not fit.

The SLX will work, here is a picture of my 2020 2SS on the 5000SLX, using the pinch weld blcoks you will end up using the aft portion of the rear lift point (plastic is in the way to go any further forward) and you'll be using the aft portion of the aft (of the 2) forward lift point. The car was always very stable, if in doubt, throw a 50 lb bag of sand in the back of the trunk for added security...

With that being said, I did end up buying the extensions and also the ZL1 Addons lift points (which I just installed today), I'm still needing to lift at the aft portion of the rear lift point but I can now lift from the aft portion of the forward of the 2 front lift points, so basically I'm lifting the front about 8" further forward, which should remove any doubt about stability... I'm going to lift it this way for the first time tomorrow to change my oil and diff fluid... I'll try to take pictures if I remember...

I just purchased an open box 7000-SLX from the Quickjack website for $1182. Decided to get the extensions for $249 also. Looking forward to having a lift device in my garage. Great thread!

Just set it up now. It’s a bit tight, just have to have the jack pads lined up perfectly. But once you do the factory lift points do work. I got it from Costco for 1,604. With tax and shipping. Also came with the truck lifting accessories and the wall mount.

Ok, got the 2SS up on the QuickJack BL-5000SLX (with extensions) today using my new ZL1 Addons Lift Points... I promised pictures, so here you go...

Taken from the passenger side:

Rear lift point, passenger side:

Forward lift point, passenger side: (the body panel line is where the passenger door meets the front fender)

These are from the Drivers side:

Forward Lift Point (Drivers side):

Aft Lift Point (Drivers side):

Using the Extensions on the SLX, I had to put the rubber blocks at the further out points, my ZL1 Addon lift points are about 63.5" on center, the the length of the extensions is 66" so there isn't a lot of margin for error but I am definitely lifting the car much more forward than I did before I had the extensions and before the ZL1 Lift Points (when I was just using the rubber pinch weld blocks).

Here is a picture of it lifted WITHOUT the extensions and WITHOUT the ZL1 Addon lift points, you can see how much further back the forward lift point is:

And with the extensions:
