Yea, it would be best to have everything installed before going to the exhaust shop to have the 1795 resonators welded in. Its a tight fit under there where they have to be installed, they will literally be about 1" apart but they do fit perfectly when installed.

Oh, you’re saying I can install everything at home and then take it to the shop to get it welded?

Guess I could do that and deal with the exhaust leaks for the 10 mile trip to the exhaust shop.

Awesome thanks so much...appreciate the links.

They are quite long but saw that you said they fit perfectly once installed.

Yes, they fit like a glove when installed. You couldn't use a resonator any longer, its just right.

What do you have installed now? If you're still using stock exhaust, you're going to have to cut it off anyway. Headers are a bit of a job, but if you're going to install headers, cats, and a AWE catback yourself, you're still going to have to cut the factory exhaust.

Ok any other feedback on other systems besides, Birla and awe? How do the Corsa systems hook up to the catted connection pipes??

Appreciate the feedback fellas 😊

I've never heard much about the Corsa system, most just say its really loud. If I were buying an an aftermarket exhaust I would be looking at AWE resonated touring exhaust if you can live without the active exhaust valves, or the Borla S-Type if you must have the valves.

Corsa makes an entire system so it will all bolt right up.

I was looking at the complete Corsa exhaust a few days ago. I wonder how their headers compare to the others?

I have the stock system still on the car. so I’ll have to cut the OEM system. I’d still like to try and do the job by myself at home.

Headers too? You can do it yourself for sure and then drive it to the exhaust shop to have the resonators welded in. You shouldn't have any leaks on the way to the shop.
