Question Need help with 8L45 Torque Converter part number

As the title states, I was wondering if anyone has or had a part number for the torque converter on the A8 8L45 transmission???

Its been 2 weeks searching here and there, but I've seen some post of the "new upgraded" converter, but never had any numbers for it.

also, I've checked places like GMPartsGarage, GMPartsDirect, GMPartsOnline, and when you get to the transmission section for the 3.6L v6, and the 2.0L Turbo. It ONLY lists the drive plate and the entire transmission. Now the drive plates (I'm assuming flex plate) are different part numbers between the two. the transmissions are different numbers as well, but closer in numbers (24268898 = V6 vs 24268897 = Turbo 4).

Even going the used parts route, I've checked ebay as well... not a single 8l45 torque converter. Used, New, wrecked, otherwise. even a full transmission.

And even went to my go to places like LKQ parts, Car-part.com, and a few other local "auto parts gardens"

of all the places mentioned, new and used you can find engines hand over fist, but to find a torque converter for the transmission... its extremely odd to not even find a trace. the one converter I did find, turned out to be one for the 8L90.

my primary purpose is to get a core to have redone in the future. a year ago, they were listed on the GM parts sites... now amidst this "shudder-gate" you cant find a single one.

hope someone has some info
