Another A8 Full Bolt on Dyno

Got my bolt ons on. Still learning the tuning part (I think?)

Anyways the list:
Kooks 2" headers with off road connection pipe
Speed Engineering 3" X-Pipe
Stock NPP
Tony Mamo ported MSD Intake
Katech 103mm throttle body
Rotofab Dry CAI
ATI Underdrive pulley
We were at around E70~ish

Also on there, is my baseline dyno.... which shows the important stuff, a gain of 84rwhp/60rwtq

Might wait until another fill up of E85, and play around with the tuning part again... but I'm still content with the numbers. The 460/460 numbers are the 93 octane numbers. STD correction, I was at 490/495

Not bad. Too bad it’s hyper blue. That’s gonna cost you a tenth real world

You have a point.... hyper blue is an option for these cars and options just add weight.

Fortunately I can offset that weight, with my higher dyno numbers.

Lol... idk if a half hp and 7-8 tq is enough. Could be...

I actually wanted hyper blue as my first choice. But I nabbed this car for like 25% off. Black was my second favorite. I couldn’t pass it up

Either number could be offset by someone farting near the intake during the dyno pull.... so meh.

Black is hands down the best color... when its clean.... unfortunately that lasts for about 30 second after you wash it.

No msd dip yet power is good into 6500rpm and it still looks like it would have a few hundred more.

Who's tune are you running? Also surprised to learn there is a Dyno in Delmont. How much work did FJ do on your car?

FJ performance tuned it. They are right off 66, on Thorne Run Road (if you are familiar with the area, it's right by the autoshop with an actual volkswagen bug on top of their sign). They just did the dyno tune, even though they do labor stuff, but I like working on my own stuff, when I can.

The tune is pretty conservative from the three other bolt on tunes I've seen. There was only 26* of timing in that final pull, but I was only at e68. So hopefully when I make it to the track and and get my alcohol content up, I might add some timing and see how she likes it.

Waiting on my bogarts to be made, or I would be.

I got a spot reserved for a track rental in August at quaker city.... I will probably get most of my test and tuning done then.
