That's funny...I'd buy it!

The one thing that I really want as an imporvement over the LS1 Camaro...
Headlights that have a switch to turn them off when you want them to be off. That is one of my biggest annoyances about my 4th gens.

I'm also in for the auto up/down windows (for both sides) and bluetooth for sure! That is the coolest aftermarket option we have put in any of our cars to date. We both LOVE it!!

I might attach two laser pointers to the grill to simulate lasers. Although I would get the tip that looks like crosshairs. I've always wanted a fog machine for the rear windshield and to put a yoda w/lightsaber figure back there with a spotlight so people behind me could see it at night.

I'd imagine it would have to be moved out a little further, but wouldn't mean it would HAVE TO be moved to the side. That would be very dissapointing.
Hey Tag, If I recall it seemed like it had to do maybe with the fill tube location relative to the left rear wheel. Maybe something to do with the tire possibly kicking up road debris in that area?

That's what you said in the earlier post Kenz. I think you're right too.

Just a thought on the gas cap placement.

Having had to fill the gas tank several times on my Uncle's '75 Corvette Stingray, (which is located atop the rear section of the car), I wonder if keeping the gas cap in it's current location might be a mistake.

I picture owners/gas station attendants spilling/dripping fuel onto the paint surface, and numerous visits by owners to the dealers looking for their paint to be "fixed". (I know this occurs currently, where the caps are in the conventional spot...but having it atop the fender may be more of a headache.)

Also, where the cap is currently located may lead to another "issue"; the hose of the pump resting against the fender and causing "issues".

I know it doesn't seem to be a BIG deal to leave it where it is, but I see a few possible problem areas, and I doubt GM wants to see owners showing up, complaining about the location of the cap, and the problems it might possibly cause.

If they do move it, I hope it is flush with the exterior. I don't want the lines of the car being comprimised by a hulking chrome cylinder sticking out the side.

Behind the radio there's a relay you can remove to disable the Auto-On headlamps and DRL's... I did it shortly after getting mine in '02.

I know what you mean, but I like the convenience of the lights automatically coming on for me Sometimes you just don't think anything about turning your headlights on when the sun is setting and it might be kind of difficult for other cars to see you.

Has anyone thought anything about the daytime running lights on the new Camaro? I wonder how they will look and work??

If they keep the Halo's I have no doubts that Daytime will be the Halo's alone.

On that note....why put the option in the concept to only put Halo's on if you KNEW that halo's wouldn't make it...

Second. I'll be straight here - if the gas cap stays on top of the fender, I'm okay with it, but everyone at the station will see this creep pull out a load of paper towels to cover the fender before he fills up.

And if they do move it to the side, I agree I wouldn't want a mole on my Camaro's ass, but if they recessed it into the fender-wall, you know what I mean? not protruding, but the opposite; Like it is now on top, but on the side.

Don't get me wrong...I like the auto-on feature, but they have the technology to turn them off when needed. We have it on our Tahoe and the trucks have had it for as long as the LS1 F-Body has been on the road.

I LOVE the idea of paddle shifters on the camaro
for paddle shifters like these on the aura and on the corvette it looks like you push with your thumb. Or is it behind the wheel you push with your fingers? Because pushing with your thumb would be uncomfurtable.
