+1 for Hagerty. In January my renewal w/ GEICO came up and my policy went up 50% vs. last year, with no changes to my driving record, accident history etc.

I got a quote on a declared value policy from Hagerty (57k) and it was ~10% less than the new quote from geico, so I switched. I checked other companies as well, and they all had gone up significantly and none were meaningfully less than hagerty. I like the declared value aspect, gives me peace of mind too, and given the camaro isn't my DD, it complies w/ their rules.

Two vehicles each driven under 8,500 miles per year. Zero claims/tickets in over 25 years. $624/year. Vehicle 1 is my Camaro, vehicle 2 is my Blazer.

I got Progressive full coverage back in sept. for $680 and now they want $807 saying the first amount was an introductory offer. So, it went up $127 in less than 6mos even though I have'nt had a ticket in 20 years, no accidents, no DUIs ever. I think they do it because they're losing at the track.

Mine just keeps going up every six months. They claim it's because the vehicles are getting older and more prone to breaking down. I call BS.

Yeah, that's BS. Insurance doesn't cover your car breaking down. It is for accidents and damage

I came to this decision on the advice of a friend. In addition, I once talked with the guys from Dashdevs company, who are engaged in fintech software development. They say that it is better to use experts so as not to have headaches with payments. That's why I ask the broker to sort out my insurance. If the prices go up I can just call him and ask for a new round of quotes, if nothing has changed on my end that's a 30 second conversation, he just uses my last set of info and a few hours later he has new quotes or tells me I'm still doing best where I am.
I need to find myself a broker. My insurance just keeps on rising like it's supposed to

My insurance went up around $40.00 this month. Wondering what’s going on!

Over $700/ 6 months on my Camaro.

The insurance commish for WA state just approved a 20% premium hike requested by the insurers, citing higher repair costs and more accidents.

I pay $660/yr with low deductibles for a 2023 1LT convertible, and $900/yr for a 2024 3LT convertible panther.... We are cheap here in Indiana (one of the many reasons I live here, I can visit Florida with a quick 11 hour drive straight south down I65)...

Just transferred our XT4 from illinois to Florida. Went up 50%. Although we have no income taxes, homeowners and car insurance nearly make up for it.
