I too have been looking for what I think is an appropriate 1LE badge. I will get the OEM 1LE floormats. A license plate frame would be cool too. I do like the LT1 fender badges that come on that model much better than the Camaro ones on ours. I do kind of like this one https://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/30/43625

Hey Lorne. This is what I came up with. I was planning on putting it on the decklid, next to the tail lamp, but i added the stripe instead. I didn't care for the standard position of the SS. That one is a tough call. No perfect spot to place the badging.

I agree it's your car and you should be 'allowed' to do with it as you please. I'm just the opposite in thinking. I routinely remove the badging on every vehicle I buy, leaving only the front bow tie on our Silverado LTZ.

I'd like to remove the "ZL1" from the hood of my new car, but concerned it might leave damage to the black paint beneath. The rear "ZL1" will be removed shortly, leaving the front grill "ZL1".

Anyone who lives their life based on the opinions of others is a fool.

So true and I immediately knew the badge in my opening post was a bad look but shared it anyway, definitely ruffled a few of the purist feathers

I wouldn’t care if it had anything on it now that I have had the summer to enjoy the car, awesome as we all know

I did however remove the good wrap, I just couldn’t get used to the flat black and it took away any pleasure of washing it

I look back at it whenever I go somewhere so mission accomplished

No idea why the pic keeps uploading sideways

Lorne,

Your car your call. Before anyone states the obvious, I know the 1LE is a package and not a model (the design team should have made it one). This is what I CHOSE to do.

100% agree.

De-badged mine the day I got it and swapped black bowtie for the front.

Oh and it's always amused me when people post pics of their cars and then blur out their license plates...do they not realize we can see it when you drive?

I agree they should have put on some 1LE badging. I would have liked the lettering to match the SS better but I think it looks good without being over board

I like yours matches the ZL1 very well. Very symmetrical which I think looks good as well.

Very unlikely that you would upload it to the internet, though. That is why people blur them out.

Yes, I know one slip-up is enough to have it on there forever for crawl bots to find, but I can still understand the reluctance and respect the effort.
