That's actually the reason the manual says the first track day shouldn't be driven all-out and then change diff fluid after that first track day. After that the fluid is noticeably cleaner for the subsequent 20-hr changes.
Bingo

OK, I admit that the only mention I see in either manual on engine oil change is very 7500 mi and differential is 50,000 mi.(?). I am clearly looking in the wrong sections.

Those are generic guidelines for DD only. Track duty guidelines are 15hrs tranny and 24hrs ediff, but it makes good sense to change them together imo. At one point oil was 4hrs, but that has been removed from more recent manuals (except for a V6 i think?). I change oil every 5-6 track days and never below 50% life left regardless. Cheers!

Also, for anyone tracking their car read the break in procedure carefully. The diff needs 1500mi before tracking and a change after a 1st day.
Many (incl myself) change oil and diff fluid before a 1st track day and then after a 1st event (could be a 2 day event). Cheers!

Nope, tranny fluid every 15 track hrs sir. You are way overcooked in that department

You seem to be forgetting about the 30k?
Hey, it is your car you only got 1 yr left on the drivetrain warranty. Fluid is cheap vs a new tranny, but it is your wallet not mine lol!

That's for DD *only* car. See my previous post.
Why would you change diff fluid but not tranny fluid?
The latter has a more frequent recommended interval.

PS You said "almost 30k" so close enough. The point being that's a lot of miles for a dual purpose car without having *ever* changed tranny fluid.
