A10 hitting rev limiter at wot
It seems to be getting a little bit worse over time on upshifts that I believe are 4-5. I've got the shift light in the aeroforce gauge set at 6400 and it comes on right about the time it hits rl and falls flat for a split second.
Is the easiest fix just raising the rev limit 200 rpm in the tune, or what? I'm not sure the trans has been tuned at all, or maybe the solution is dropping that shift point down 100 rpm if it's tunable in the 2017 ZL1? |

Mine hits the rev limiter or short shifts on the 1/2 and 2/3 when in auto because of tire spin, so I started driving it in manual when I want to let it eat, which eliminates the issue

lower the MPH verses the RPM in the tune a few miles per hour si ut hit that first them when it hits the rpm it should command the shift and not hit the chip.

Maybe it's not so much getting worse as it is I'm hammering more often so I experience it more often.
Definitely needs a little tune magic. |

Any chance the trans temp was low? I had this happen 1 time to me at the drag strip after letting the car sit and cool down for several hours. Later noticed on the PDR that the trans temp was around 130. The next pass was smooth sailing with the trans at 150, so I've always made sure the trans was at least 150 from that point forward, and have never had that issue again.

Happened to me again today in manual in 2nd, went to WOT, tire spin, engine pause for an instant, back to full power. Bad driving not the car's fault.

I have to confess I've not watched the trans temp when goosing it around the corner from my house, but that stretch that lets it run to 140mph, although on the remote side is close enough to maybe not have the trans temp up.
When doing it today I'd been around town and no hitting the limiter or pause issue, so there may be something to that. After doing one manual session when first getting the car I said heck with that, in big D from here on out. I gave up a manual for a reason, one of which was to eat fast food and drive without needing a third hand. |
