Went to my local dealer, they said you can't order 23277750 anymore in their part software "cancel all orders"

You can order 84242704 for $247 and this item supersedes 84289253 (same price)...

But outside of my dealer I can't order 84242704 online....

What's the F***K ?

Manufacturers do that to keep their car models (and their special parts) separate and exclusive. You may even have to provide your VIN to order the part from the dealer. Chevy apparently doesn't want a bunch of Sonics running around with 1LE spoilers.

I went to my dealer asking the same thing, and after a while the only number he could find was 84448348 which appeared to be the complete 3 piece kit, but almost $500.

Has anyone actually ordered one online and received the correct one?

In fact I checked at my dealer at the price for the 2 small spoilers is $412 not $247....Crazy....

This whole stuff is a mess, no one is sure of the correct part number...

Reviving: I'm trying to find the part # for just the center spoiler that mounts on the trunk. Mine got damaged and having a hard time finding the correct #.

Picked up my ordered 1LE about a month ago. Both end pieces were installed a few milimeters to far back (not aligned with trunk spoiler). And one of them is at a horrible angle, looks like a monkey stuck it on there... Car was delivered with an extra left side one, trying to get hold of a right side. Worried I'm just going to have to come out of pocket and order teh whole spoiler kit...

Use a heat gun (low temp) or hair dryer to warm up the end piece and area of the sheet metal. Use a plastic pry tool with a soft microfiber rag beneath it. you can add some blue painters tape to further protect things. Gently pry to remove. You can get the same 3M double sided tape to retape for reinstallation.

I'd hope like hell a dealer would fix it under warranty. That's the route I'd go anyway. Best of luck with it. Also check to ensure they have removed the spring spacers from F wheels (used for transport). Many a dealer are clueless and leave them in place...Cheers!

Pulling this thread out of stasis, dropped my car to the dealer for the hood wrap peeling off the sides and the left winglet coming off and misaligned. They’ve scheduled me for an appointment with the body shop for the hood wrap and the winglet they say is on back order…. I’ll try to see if they can give me a part number for at least the winglet, I’d imagine the other winglet and maybe even the center would be +-1 digit on the part number

Once again pulling the thread back, part number for the 1LE Satin Black spoiler is 84448349 I believe.

Was back ordered about a week and then they didn’t include the adhesive so had to wait a bit more for that to arrive too
