M6 Conti guy chiming in HAHA.....I was shocked too when I got the time slip with a 1.7 60ft, 10.87 @ 129. First off the conti street tires are wider than stock. 275/35ZR20 vs 305/35/20, makes the contis about 1.4" wider in section width. Also this was a pretty much freshly prep'd track, i was probably 1 of the first 12 cars to go down the track in that lane. This was the ONLY pass I made out of 12 that i didnt spin or have wheel hop. Every other pass I was fitting both. As the day went on the track went away. My next closest part was a 1.9 60ft, 11.09 at 129. I was even spinning and getting some wheel hop when NLS grabbing 2nd. I was really hoping to back it up, but wasnt able to get another 10 sec pass. None the less it did happen, heels will be here this Wednesday, so hopefully i can get out and make some passes on my dragpack setup. Looking to push this Whipple powered car faster!

Honestly I am more impressed with his setup then others that are quite a bit faster for a few reasons.

1) Man pedal
2) 20" street tires
3) Full weight

So to run 10's at almost 130 in a basically full street trim low boost setup is really impressive. We often get wrapped up in the setups with the fastest times on the net, but often ignore all the little things that it took to get there where more times then not compromises the overall fun factor and drivability of the car.

oh stop.....

I am def having fun, but its frustrating to get 1 really good pass out of 12. So we will see what a dragpack setup brings, hopefully not broken axle shafts or a drive shaft, gotta be easy on the launch i guess. Probably upgrading these components over the winter, then its full send in the spring.

Thank you for the props! I had 1 pass that did go 130.xx mph, i will have to look back at my slips but i think it was an 11.30 pass. Go figure......alot going on when bangin gears at the right rpm. My P3 gauge has a built in shift light, need to dial that in more as well.

Really chasing steelheadrob with basically the same setup as me once i get my dragpack on, he is an A8 though.....

Congrats on the run. Can’t wait to see the results with the drag pack. Are you liking the P3 gauge? I am seriously thinking about adding that too. It would just be so much more convenient if I had something to show and log right there build in. As an example, a display to show % alky would be beautiful.

Great job

And so that it’s not a thread hijack...great example of low-end power getting it done.

Thread hijack, yeah about that haha. I like the P3 gauge for the simple fact of the install location. I feel the analog boost gauge reads high though, which i should probably try and calibrate again. Since i see 11-11.5 lbs of boost, which seems high for a 3.50" upper pulley, should only be 10 at the most. Other than that i like the P3 gauge, dont really have much experience with other gauges though, but i am happy with it, install took 15 mins at most.

As far as displaying % of alky.....it has 2 universal 0-5v analog inputs, so maybe thet will help you out.
