I've felt a new weird vibration from my car when driving, idling also seemed different - so today I popped the hood to listen and I heard what seemed to be a odd vibration noise coming from my pulley or the blower itself. I am deaf in one year, so it is hard for me to pinpoint.

sorta off the subject.. (sorry) what kind of power are you putting down with that 90mm pulley?

Laylo gave me a call. I am talking with my shop to get the car and looked at. If I had to guess, a bearing might be going bad somewhere.

Good to talk to you and let me know what you find out from the shop. A stethoscope usually gives us a good I idea. Could be the tensioner, pulley, we will get it figured out.

Initial diagnosis is not good. Possible bearing failure front or passenger side based on the sound readings, loudest noise at the front bearing with the passenger side (shaft side) making quite a bit more noise than the driver side.

I submitted an RMA request with Magnuson, I am waiting for Tim@Magnuson to process it and call me back.

My clip there does not show it well. In person it's pretty bad. I have another clip I can post later that shows it. It sounds like bad bearings inside, it's quite distinct.

Tim@Magnsuon emailed me back yesterday asking for some info, including the serial number. I don't see it visible on the blower, where does Magnuson put the serial tag on these?

Update: I spoke at length with Tim@Magnuson. We are trying some low hanging fruit to see if we can verify the issue is specific to the supercharger and see if we can't resolve this locally before having them look things over directly.

Local 'authorized' shop has no time or space. Good times keep rolling. Magnsuon thinks it is a couple issue, they really keep touching on my running a tune from Jannetty instead of their tune.

No real updates on this, my car is still in my garage, since Sept 17th (almost 3 weeks now). A second 'authorized' seemingly does not want to work on a supercharger repair. Magnuson has been slow to respond, their last response was just asking questions that have already been asked or talked about.

They had originally offered for me to bring my car to them to get looked at, that was taken off the table by Dan in engineering group. Their president, Mike reached out to me after getting word that I wasn't getting anywhere, saying he wanted to swap my supercharger out, nothing on that since he emailed me 3 days ago..

Magnuson is not the company I thought they were. I don't know if it is a lack of internal communication or if they really are just hoping this will go away. No one has bothered to give me a follow-up call beyond the first day I contacted them.. I spent a lot of money on their product, I put a lot of trust in them and Jannetty and I have been very patient, but I am really feeling like I am being left out in the cold here.

I just spoke with Tim@Magnuson, I think things are sorted out now and we are on the same page with what we're doing moving forward.
