Hello all, well I just installed the scavenger with the factory npp and it sounds amazing. The Lowend power is there definitely along with the midrange. I do have a k&n intake on the car so the helps smooth out the power through the power band, but we'll see what the dyno results have to say next week.

. Ok I got the car back from
The dyno. it made pretty good numbers for just a scavenger xpipe and intake. I'm pretty happy with the results and it sounds a lot healthier now too.

Was there any major modifications needed to mate the 2? Thinking of going this route but I wasn't sure how hard it would have been to make work..

I added the NPP Flowmaster American Thunder axle back to my car and it really sounds great! I've just ordered the Scavenger X pipe today and I hope this combo gives me exactly what I want. Hope to have it by weeks end and installed next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Both our Scavenger X-Pipes for manual and automatic transmissions for the 2016-2019 Camaro SS are designed to complement our Axle-back systems which are installed by cutting the factory system in the rear. If you are looking to keep your OEM exhaust system from the axle back, some minor fabrication would be needed to mate the Scavenger X-pipe to the OEM rear section. To give a better idea of what installation of this piece looks like, you can view our installation instructions here.

In regards to the secondary cats, these pipes are designed to be emissions compliant, and allow the vehicle to retain them.

Get the most out of your Camaro SS and Flowmaster Axle-back system. We have determined that fitment of the existing Scavenger X-pipe kits for both manual and automatic transmissions listed above for the 2016-2019 Camaro SS will carry on through the 2019 model year.

I'm currently running the outlaw axle back non npp setup and am debating on grabbing this midpipe. Anybody add it to their existing axle back? Sound difference? Does it bolt on or does the factory midpipe need to be cut? Appreciate the help.

My Scavenger X went on from the cats back, replacing the mid section. It also deletes secdondary cats. The car had much deeper note or sound to it, and it bolted right up to my primary cats up front and to my Flowmaster AT axle back without issue or modifications.

How is this possible? The FlowMaster mid-pipes don’t go all the way up to the primary cats! You would need a set of Borla 60626 secondary cat delete pipes to do what you said. This was my plan...
