tried the back up lights but needed a resistor to make them shut off all they way. Did you have to install the resistor? If no, what LEDs did you use?

I used these resisters.

And these LEDs.

You only need to put the resister on one side. It comes two to a pack. Easy to install with a pair of channel locks.

I used these bulbs for the license plate (2) lights and the trunk (1) light. Also a pack of two. I got two packs and have one left for a spare.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Note: The backup bulbs only work one way but can be installed either way so if one of the bulbs doesn't work, just 180 it. Test before putting the bulbs into the fixture.

Nice ride! What did you use to put the red accents in the front grill in the corners?

I have to share garage space, threw together a little something to prevent the accidental door ding. Wrapped a microfiber towel around a cardboard tube, then used some neodymium magnets at either end to hold the apparatus against the car door...

The magnets don't make direct contact with the door as there is a layer of microfiber between the magnet and door. Anyone know if magnets will have any weird effects against the paint? Would be good to know before I keep using this as a dent precaution lol.

Looks like a bumper for a very small boat.

Seriously though, those magnets will mar your paint over time. I know from experience.

I figure I risk marring if I slide the "Guard" around on the panel, but could it still mar the paint when its just sitting there against the door not moving?
