Love the color randy! My dad has a IOM SS as well! So do you think I'd be better off getting the splitter installed at a body shop? What do the support rods attach to? Who did you order from? Phastek?

There have been a lot of people looking for a splitter in the Cosmetics and Lighting Modification Discussions section. You may want to post this in there to try to get a group buy going.

Thanks, yes I got it through Phastek. Install can be tricky and the instructions they provide are pretty much useless unless they now supply better instructions. The splitter sees a lot of down force so the front rods are really important to install into a solid frame. I also mounted the splitter to the frame under the car for more support. They don’t say anything about mounting it to the frame but if you do it makes a big difference to ensure the splitter doesn’t rip off. Also I see they went with the longer rods which I should do as well. Mine are turned out all the way but didn’t feel like dropping another hundred bucks on two new longer rods. I may as some point buy the longer rods. You can install it but it will take time and planning on your end.

Thanks randy! And I will also post this in cosmetics and lighting as well as the v6 splitter thread that someone has going let me know if anyone is interested. Tony emailed me some general instruction and told me that it should be mounted in the frame so they must be giving better instructions now lol and what's the purpose of longer rod bolts?
