Right now I'm pissed at my insurance company. Some BS about not having 2017 info in their database and the confirmation has to go through their under writing dept. or something, to have it entered.

I was told that an agent would get back to me, that was an hour ago, so I'm going to piss them off for making me wait.
The best thing, everytime I call it's registered.

Holy molly, you have to stay on top of these people.

Paperwork is in the works, got my confirmation, and now thanks to the delays, it's rush hour and don't feel like spending 1hr on the road (one-way) , too short notice to get time off work for Thursday, Friday thurnderstorms

I will be picking it up FIRST THING SATURDAY MORNING and enjoy the non-rush hour, beautiful sunny day, leisurely drive home.

That sucks Frank!

I understand the issue as well......
My insurance company wanted an actual copy of the "Vehicle Portion", prior to being able to confirm coverage, due to the "newness" of it being a '17.

As the "fine folks" at the dealership waited until 3 pm the day of delivery to pick up the docs from Service Ontario, everyone rushed to get it done on-time.

WHY THE DEALERS DON'T PROCESS THE REGISTRATIONS 2-3 DAYS PRIOR (KNOWING THAT THE CAR IS TO BE PICKED UP WITHIN A DAY OR SO), I DON'T KNOW!!

Don't like that dealers PDI the car, and then process the paperwork so close to the delivery.....

Like you said. At-least it'll be a stress-free cruise there and back on Saturday!
It's hard to not let the stupid hiccups keep you from enjoying the end-game (YOUR RIDE!).

Dealers dont process the registration until they see the taillights of the car leaving (figuratively) because its hell to roll the paperwork back with GM. GM is required to alert the govt the car is sold immed so they have to go thru hell as well.

Registration trips so many systems so its a big deal when it happens.

I keep hearing that Ontario government is working on allowing the dealers to process ALL registrations on site at the dealer by setting up a database that links them to Service Ont. This is supposed to allow a 1 day turnaround, and get the cars delivered to the customer faster...do we see this happening...NO...more talk and no action.
The dealers are all for it and can't wait, it will cut their time in half and get the cars to the customers faster, too.

Wow, never had a twin before, especially with same trim level, not even back with my 5th Gen. Wish you a speedy build and delivery.

Stay tuned I should be posting pics this weekend after I pick it up on Saturday.

Congrats Frank,

Car looks awesome,
You need the black splitter on the front.
Black wheels look awesome on that combo also.

Enjoy!
