The tool is only $60, I plan on buying one when I get my second set of wheels. IMO worth the price. What Glen posted is the only other way.

Here you go, this should do it. I haven't confirmed it personally, but I posted it here and another member said it will work.

Don't buy a thing until you see if the car will auto calibrate with the link I posted above.

That tool does work, used it yesterday when we mounted new rides on the car.

Just an update. I tried this today and while my car did honk and did say it was in learning mode. It did not learn my new tpms sensors though. I drove the highway for about 20 minutes. I am using dealer provided tpms sensors for the 2016. Not sure what else would be needed. I might just buy this tool. Could save me money in the long run.

Not sure where you all get your tire work done but the guys at my local Discount Tire will do it for free but I suppose having bought about a dozen sets of tires from them over the last few years I have an unfair advantage

If you can refill your tires up with air you can try this. When I was at a Chevy dealership and the tool wouldn't work you can let 5psi out of each tire with the vehicle running in learn mode. Just do the left front then right front followed by the right rear and left rear tire. It should honk after each tire once it picks it up.

Tried this just now too. I get the horn and it says its in learning mode but I left almost all the air out of my tire mutiple times and nothing. Looks like I will be buying that tool.

You will get the horn once it relearn with the vehicle, go around clockwise starting with the driver front. Once you get to the driver rear it will honk once, followed by a pause then two more times confirming the procedure.

It may take a few times. This is by far the most frustrating way. Or if your close to a dealership just go to their lune bays and ask them to relearn the tpm for you.

I have the tool as well. Works great. Totally worth the cost, just for convenience sake if you swap wheels/tires often.

yep, I was thinking maybe the sensors were bad since I've never got them to work and neither the driving for 15 minutes or letting air out trick worked. Took it to the dealership and had them programed about 15 seconds later. Definitely buying on of those tools.
