I just looked it up. Yeah, it's easy to install but at the same time, it costs close to US$200. A skip-shift disabler costs like US$20~30. It's more work, but if you are doing an oil change, you could just install the skip-shift bypass while you are under the car.
yes, the new 2.0/2.7 L4 it has a very slick sliding camshaft mechanism as well. 3 stages, full valve opening, partial and no opening

I feel the change in my 19 A10 SS. At first I noticed the sound difference. As I got the know the car more I can actually feel the slight change in power at cruising speeds before the sound changes and before the dash goes from v8 to v4 or back.

2018 2ss Camaro. With the stock NPP exhaust system from Chevy, I hardly felt it. However, once I put on the axleback and x-pipe, whole new ball game. I can definitely feel it and hear it.

Did you remove the AFM valves from the midpipe or disconnect them? That would certainly make V4 mode more noticeable.

@arpad-m

The flowmaster scavenger x pipe for the automatic keeps the afm valves functioning. I just use the Range device and plug it in to the OBD2 port. The only time I take the Range out is when I go to the dealer for service.

Had AFM in my C7 and this V6, hard to tell when it is in use unless you were paying attention to the dash. Funny with my C7 I would drive it all the time in the summer , partially because it got much better gas mileage than my SUV. Typically I could run 32 mpg on the highway. I was told by a GM engineer that at 60 mph the C7 only required 55 hp to cruise at that speed. Little more slippery in the wind than the Camaro.
