2019 Camaro...Move the Bowtie!!?? What say you...

So there is pretty much zero chance that even if this thread gets 10,000 votes and even if every single one of them says move the bowtie up, that Chevy will actually do it.

But I don't care. I want someone in GM to see this, and hopefully realize this should not become a Chevy trend (much like removing the bowtie off of the center grille in the 2019 Silverado LT models....ugh)

So which do you prefer? Bowtie up? Bowtie down?

Bowtie Up: (Photoshop)

or Bowtie down (OEM)

It’s amazing how much that small change improves the look. I actually like the refresh with the bow tie moved up.

The front looks way too awkward and droopy with the bow tie down low.

You kind of have to vote move it up. It's almost like they said ok the design is perfect, oh crap we forgot to put a bow tie on it lets slap it right in the middle

Too late to make any changes. These cars will be on the streets in a few months, production is in and has been in full swing. No one liked the 5th gen refresh, and no one liked the 6th gen intro on Camaro5, calling it a Lexus.

Point is, most who dislike this refresh will like it tomorrow. Chevy will still sell them.

They won't sell one to me, though. I've had 3 Camaros in my life, and my 2016 will be the last until they change it to something less hideous. If they wanted to drive me to a competitor, spending all of the refresh money ruining the car's front end was a great way to do it.

And not even a bump in power, that is a deal breaker. I could live with the ugly front as long as it has more power than the 2018 but now there is no incentive to get the new one.

They didn't bump power with the 2014 refresh, why would you think they'd do it this time?

GM typically only offers increased power when introducing a new engine.

Move the bowtie and paint the black bumper body color. Actually, the RS looks really good. Just put the RS front on the SS and keep the SS heat extractor hood to distinguish the two.

The 6th gen reveal was actually pretty positive and we felt redeemed for the '14 refresh. The only good looking 14/15 was the Z/28, which is what the refresh was a stripped down version of. The only gripe that most people had for the 6th gen was the tighter seating position and the reduction of interior storage from sparse to nearly non-existent.

I wouldn’t say the 10-13 were bland but the 14-15 was much more aggressive.
