Reviews, good OR bad dealership experiences

I saw this over at ordering sub forum and figured we should make one for TX (Per Glen's suggestions there).
------------------------------
Format:

Dealership + sales person (if applicable) Name / Address (of the dealership):
Experience (good or bad)
Comment, whether brief or long. Just keep it as civil as possible:P
------------------------------

Dealership: Huffines Chevrolet 1400 South Stemmons Freeway, Lewisville, TX 75067

Michael Carriveau the fleet manager as my sales guy.

Experience: I am very speechless in a very very good way. Since they were a HUGE part of the surprise delivery of my vehicle. I have multiple friends who bought and service their vehicles from them which is why I went there + had allocation. Fantastic sales and service dept. I even by my 2nd car, the malibu a month after my camaro from them even though I live in Wichita.

Henna Chevrolet in Austin, TX. John Smith was great. I was in and out of the dealership with my new car in just a couple hours. He also got my XM subscription fixed quickly.

This Camaro is our 5th car from Jack in 3 years now. Each car has been no haggle I tell him what I want and what I want to pay and its a simple yes or no answer. We get calls every so often to check up and see how things are going. We have even received hand written holiday and birthday cards. The offer free wash like most dealers and will only hand wash our Camaro. Jack is pure car guy and knows more about the cars then anyone car sales man I have ever met.

Comment: Great experience here, Mark was very honest and upfront about pricing. He proactively sent me email updates several times each week. When I took delivery he even added a red tag discount ($1500 off) without prompting!

I've also had great experiences at Capitol Chevrolet in ATX! The internet sales manager - Phillip Ahearn (512.921.1934) is excellent and the prices are better than the other dealers in the area.

Dealership: Norman Frede Chevrolet
Salesperson: Brian Sills and J.B. (don't know his last name, he did the actual ordering)
Experience: Outstanding. If I had any questions they went out of their way to find the answers.
Comments: My family has used Frede Chevrolet for over 30 years and, other than a couple of service hiccups, we have been very pleased with Frede.

Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine
Salesman: Doug Swinney
Experience: Bad

Classic is a "volume dealer", as such don't expect them to take much time with you if you're ordering a car. They sell a LOT of cars and they will sell you a car at a good price but they aren't going to take time out to update you.

I ordered an automatic ZL1 in December '16. GM didn't start producing the automatics (A10) until February '17. I called in early February and was told that they would know something by February 9th. Waited a week for info, nothing. Called, was told my order didn't get an allocation (originally told I was #6 in line for an A10) but no update on where I was on the list. Waited until second week of March, again no call. Was told my order was in the system and he'd call me back later in the week. No call. Waited a week and half and texted. Wrong car was ordered (standard trans) but I was still in line, no indication of how deep in line or how many allocations they were getting. Waited two more weeks, no call. Got fed up and called Sales Manager, left a message. Ordering Manager called me back and said that she didn't have any updated information but I was in system for an A10. another week goes by, still no call. Finally get an email to let me know the last round of 2017 allocations came out and they didn't get one for an A10 - that was last week (April 6th). Had to ask and was told that yes, I was the last one left standing for an A10 when the music stopped.
Classic won't call you and won't give you any information unless you specifically ask for it. Felt like I was just another guy looking for 'c car'. I'm not, I'm a car guy who knows what he wants and if I'm paying $65K I'd like to get a salesman who actually is going to keep me informed (i.e. your #6 on list, now you're #5, #4, etc.).
Bottom line, Classic has had my deposit for six months. I'm not going to get a '17 ZL1 BUT, they want to sell me an '18......

Classic Chevrolet, Grapevine - Brent Williams

If you choose to order a Camaro locally in DFW I highly recommend Brent Williams at Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine. I actually got his name off the Camaro6 board late last year as he has ordered Camaro's for other members. He understands the ordering process and is very knowledgeable and stays on top of your order. What's best is his wife orders the vehicles for Classic. He kept me in the loop and even activated my OnStar after the vehicle was built so I could track it as it made it's way from plant.

When the vehicle arrived he made sure I got all the appropriate discounts. It could not have been better
