New year and side mirrors got stolen(Need help)
Woke up this morning to walk our puppy and noticed both my side mirrors glass were taken from our 2010 Camaro. I am soooo irate but have to keep calm. what I hate the most is that dealers parts departments are closed due to it being new yrs day and in NYC they are all closed during the weekend.
Anyone knows if its possible to get the parts anywhere in NYC during the weekend it can be from an individual seller or a used auto parts junk yard. I just want my mirrors back since need the car.

OP: You have to park your Camaro outdoors in Queens NY every night? This will most
likely be the least of your problems imo. Anyway, I'm sure you will have too wait until Monday to get replacement glass or at least get them ordered.

yea but around my are in queens there are many Camaro's that park outdoors due to limited garages in the area. I mean I have all the setup with alarm and sensors but the mirrors seem pretty easy to take. Im looking for a way to protect my next set till we finally move from the city.

How can they steal the mirrors when they are bolted to the door?

they stole the glass itself the left the motor and housing in perfect condition and the wires. they just took the actual mirrors. its so annoying

Who the heck steals the glass mirrors from another person's car? Jeez....what is this world coming to. Are there any shady people in your neighborhood that own a 5th gen? It might be one of them.

And here I'm worried about getting my tires stolen. But the actual mirrors out of the housing? Who the #### does that?! It almost sounds like a prank. I'd check Craigslist for your area. If you can't find some mirrors for yourself, maybe you'll find who took yours.

Funny, but probably not related
 , there is a guy posting in the cosmetic forums asking how to remove the glass from the side mirrors.OP sorry about your loss, I would be violently searching for answers if anyone messed with my cars.
