I am SOOOOOOO happy to have a 6G back in my garage. These cars are amazing. The A8 was so trash in the ZR1 it spoiled the ownership experience for me. Completely uninspiring. Now I have the Camaro I wanted a few years back but couldn’t source. Incredibly stoked. Lots of plans:

1. Michelin PS4S (on hand)
2. AWE touring+PLP (on hand)
3. BTR valve springs (on hand)
4. Rotofab
5. Mamo TB
6. Orange belts
7. 2nd set of wheels (OEM? Apex? Forgestar?)
8. PPF
9. Tint
10. Stainless brake lines and SRF fluid
11. Break all ZLE track records in California

Sorry to hear about the A8. What's funny is I want to break all the (stock) ZLE records in Texas and then move on to either a C7ZR1 or a C8Z06. Looks like it will need to be a manual if it's the ZR1.

They should have stuck that 9 speed transaxle setup in the ZR1!

Welcome back! If I ever had to replace my Hyper Blue ZLE it would be a close call between Garnet Red or Crush. Great choice of color! another suggestion for wheels is BCforged. I just bought a set for my car as a track setup in 18"

I mean, it takes 10 minutes to swap the OEM one back on. Surely this can’t be a deal breaker lol.

Welcome back.

You are going to love how settled the rear feels compared to the twitchiness of the transverse leafs in the Vette. IMHO, aluminum pucks and DSSV make a noticeable difference in rear end stability and grip in ZL1 as well.

I'm thinking that LT5 was pretty special, too bad that A8 didn't match up well. C7 ZR1 is one sexy car.

ZLE ain't too bad either. Enjoy!
