Which is better?
I'm going to buy a "new to me" Camaro in the next week. I have a choice of the following:
**Note that all are 6spd, all are still under OE warranty for at least 9 months 2019 2SS w/1LE pkg. and PDR red w/black int. 23k miles 2019 2SS white with black interior, power sunroof 5800 miles 2019 2SS Red with black interior, power sunroof 12k miles All are priced within $1000 of each other. One is one the east coast, one is on a vehicle sales website and one is 40 miles from my house. My question to all of you is which one is the better buy? Which one will hold it's value more. This will be a daily driver for me for the next year, maybe two, of which I might put 15k on it over 2 years. I'm leaning toward the one with the 1LE package. I currently have a Charger Scat that I'm leasing and it's up in 2 months, but I can make about $5k on it by getting rid of it early and having the dealer buy it. On a side note, is there anyway to get a build sheet for them, or a window sticker??? One last question...I know the PDR gets rid of emergency braking, does it get rid of Lane Keep too??? Me personally I'd go with the one with less miles.

Window sticker, car fax, hell even a run down on who possibly owned it from the dealer would all be options that can and usually should be provided.
I would rather have the higher mileage 1LE if it were owned by a guy in his 50’s that used it as a DD, than the one at 5800 miles that possibly was owner by a 20 year old going WOT every time it was driven and have the clutch be burnt to a crisp. |

Low miles. 1le is a lot of good stuff if your going to feel like you need that. But for a typical street driven Camaro... lowest miles...
It also seems to me the one thats closest might be a good thing too. No transportation costs. And perhaps if its actually at a dealer whos not worthless might be a potential relationship for warrantee work should you need it. I still havnt taken our new vert to the dealer for its free oil change... But Im not even sure its worth letting them touch it. Im not much for allowing dealerships to touch things I like unless I have no other option.

Yes I agree with Yang... 23,000 miles from a guy like me would be better than 5 grand doing burnouts...
Plus ours is actually going to be the wifes DD when the salt is off the roads. Imagine a 1le DD driven by a 56 year old woman and a 65 year old guy? Although I grew up racing everything I ever owned... hell we would race fork lifts through the warehouse.... It also occurs to me the closest one enables you to go and look at it in person... I dont know how I feel about buying sight unseen.

I would go after the the one with the options you want , least miles, and closest to your location (unless you don't mind traveling).

IMO it really comes down to the options YOU want. In my case, I NEEDED NPP, MRC, and the adrenaline red Interior. As far as build sheets go shoot an email over to socialmedia@gm.com with the VINs for each car and ask for a build sheet!

I would go for 2019 with 5800 miles if I were you!

1LE if you ever intend to road course a few times a year, that's where they shine. SS if its a mostly a street car that will see a random or rare track or strip outting.

So in the VIN, what does 1G1FG1R73 have or not have compared to 1G1FG1R75 ???? Like back in the day at the Lincoln dealer I worked at, U68 was FWD and U88 was AWD..... So what's different between an R73 and an R75?? Is there any difference?

So I know....7500 miles isn't a lot. I have a "fun car" that I take out on nice days. That one only goes about 2500 miles/yr, and most of those miles are cruises with the club. With COVID, I have been laid off and found a new job. Almost all jobs are work from home here in Detroit. And many don't see the need to go back to an office setting...ever. So I'm not even sure I'd drive 7500 miles anymore. I've averaged about 13,000/yr up until this last year.
