I'm running a cheaper Uniden DFR9 unit, by the way.

Only time I came close, I had the head of the police union in the passenger seat. Got tailed long enough for my plate to be run, but didn't get pulled over.

I never had the Camaro long enough to get in trouble but could have easy if i was caught doing some WOT burst to around 80 or more MPH in 30 and 45mph zones.
Been pulled over 3 times for doing fast burst over the years and always got away with a stern talking to. Be nice and tell the truth ruth and most times they let ya go. |

"Why you should buy a radar detector with a Camaro?" would be a more fitting title than "How did your baby get you in trouble?"
Gosh, I hate tickets.

When I used to live in Grand Rapids, I used to drive around the Egypt Valley area. Heinz park where I got the ticket really had some fun curves to toss the car around. That’s really all I got for now, hoping to find some more roads where I won’t get in trouble lol. |

I was playing with another camaro while traveling down I-16. We were just taking turns doing pulls past each other, that sort of thing.
Ended up getting hit with a laser at 103mph, but luckily I had gotten on the brakes pretty hard and had just slowed down from 135. The trooper pullled out in front of us and pulled us both over. Trooper gave me a ticket of course, but I dont know how it turned out for the other guy because as the trooper handed me my documents back he said 'now I have to go deal with you buddy, I don't think he has a license'. In my state we have a super speeder violation, that is an extra $200 on anything over 85mph on the highways, plus the cost of the speeding ticket. It's also something like 5 or 6 points on your license. So I hired one of those traffic lawyers and told them I'd pay whatever fine, but I don't want any points and they were able to get the courts to lower the ticket down to an un-reportable 84 in a 70 zone with 0 points, but the fine was $850, plus another $200 for an online defensive driving certification, and the lawyer fees were $450. |

Pretty much getting caught in my locality doing triple digits here will get you a instant ride in a cruiser.
