I did not know either. Salesperson was not one of my top 1000. Evaluators put down the Mazda system but I can find my way around that system better than I can the SS. Thank you

Try swiping up on the bottom of the nav screen. Should pull up favorites. This is how you can save a location to a favorite as well. My camaro is in storage to verify, but it works on my 17 Sierra.

It's in the separate "Chevrolet MyLink Infotainment System" manual, page 20. At least for 2017 it is. Certainly everybody read that one cover to cover.

Yep, as car stereo systems became "Infotainment" systems, they became vastly more complex in their operation.
There is no way they could fit all of the features in a single car owners manual.
The car owners manual just gives you the basic operation information.

Even my Harley has two manuals. One for the bike, and a separate one for the infotainment system.

How many smart phones come with owners manuals that cover all of the cool features the phone is capable of?
At least with phones and other computers, there lots of choices when it comes to buying 3rd party books (iPhones for Dummy's, etc) that help you.

Anything like that for car infotainment systems?
I haven't seen anything, but admit I haven't looked much either.

Going from memory also but don't you have to go in and set the number of favorites to something higher than 5 to get this to work. My sierra has this same infotainment gizzy also

ARCTIC is correct. in the setup screen you can set the number of presets, based on the number you enter, the system will determine the lines you can "swipe up".

But I only have two presets; Hair Nation and Ozzys BoneYard
As mentioned before
I did not buy this car for the glass screen, I bought for the throttle.
