I agree with your decision since sunroof wasn't a must have. At first i thought about getting a sunroof til i saw they used a different roof compared to those without. I opted for without at that point when i ordered mine.

Deals seem much better now compared to when i ordered mine Jan 2017.

I think for this time of year on a 2020, that's a pretty fair deal. Obviously if you can wait until the end of the year you can likely get a better deal.
I got my 2019 ZL1 1LE in Nov 19' on a Black Friday sale, sticker of $74,500 and paid $62,500. That was about 16% off.
I feel that was an "average" deal that I got for end of the year sales.
But this time of the year 10% is pretty fair.
You just need to decide about the sunroof concern.

Here is a 19 in my area, Shadow Grey, sticker just under 70K, selling for 56K. Keep looking, if you are willing to travel to get it, there are deals out there. Especially in the northeast during the winter, dealers want the 19s gone! MY21s are coming shortly.

I have found at least a dozen great deals within 500 miles of me online. A phone call revealed none were going to be sold for the price listed without special conditions or financing thru a "preferred" lender.

I got a 2019 ZLE for 60 flat out the door with PDR in November.

I would think a 19 ZL1 would go lower that what you’ve been quoted.

No idea what your situation is but their preferred lender actually gave me a better rate than the loan I had pre setup through USAA. Also if you want to pay cash you could always just finance it and then pay it off right away to get their incentives without paying their interest. This is what my mom usually does but I’m not quite there yet lol

You could also get the car shipped if the price was good enough.

I would start by sending the deal like posted above to the sales person you talked to. Tell them if they can match the price you are ready to buy right away (assuming you really are) and see what happens, can’t hurt!

Not a good deal. For a 2019 leftover you should be able to get close to 18% off of sticker. It's an ok price for a 2020.

Well I am not too sure about holding their value better. We bought a Satin Gray 1LE about 6 months ago that had a sticker of 76K and we paid basically 70K for it and we just traded it in and we got 63500 with about 2K miles on it. Taxes on the car were roughly 4500 dollars and we went thru a set of tires at about 1600 dollars. Total cost of ownership then was (70K - 63500) plus 4500 + 1600 or roughly 12600 dollars plus six months worth of payments at 1100 a month for a total number of 19200 dollars.

We used the car as a daily driver but that was a horrible idea as it rode like a dump truck. Any water whatsover on the road and the car was a nightmare with those R rated tires. MY point of comparison for this is our 2019 ZR1 handles BETTER than our ZL1 did and the ride is a thousand times better. Of course its a 140K car so that might not be the fairest of comparisons.

A much better choice for a daily driver would have been a ZL1 NON 1LE with michelin Sport 4S tires. The magnetic ride shocks are a much better solution for a daily driver.

Were we to do it over again, you can find a LOW MILE 2017 ZL1 for about 45K. Since I still love camaros, I did also buy a low mileage 2019 SS for 32500. I couldnt find one with MRC but we are going to put 305 30 19 Michelin 4S tires on it with APEX 10.5 x 19 inch wheels all the way around so that they are rotatable. Of course this wont handle like my Zl1 1LE but with a few more modifications it should be close enough for me.

I consider myself a savvy car shopper but spent the last 2 days wasting my time. Literally have found over a dozen of 2019's within driving distance and none of the dealers would lower the price. In 95% of the cases the price was artificially low in the first place and when the invoice was created found out I did not qualify for rebate A or rebate B, etc. DOC fees running upwards of $800. I could go on and on.
The car in Virginia has a great price and when I contacted them they told me they would not give me a OTD price unless I was there in person.
Car sales people/dealerships have sunk to new low's of sleeze in the last 3 years. They knew I wasnt tire kicking either as they were told if they accepted my offer it would be locked in with a deposit via credit card.
Must have patience. Back to the drawing board tomorrow.
