Spacers help for front rims 20 by 10

So I purchased some new Rims and they kinda scrape the inside because of the size! The stock is 20 by 8.5 but the rims I have is 20 by 10! Do you recommend using spacers if so should I get an inch or lower??

What are the offsets? With the proper offset (should be around +20 or +23), you shouldn't need spacers...

What are the profiles on the tires? 30? What size are you using on the front!

I believe it is a positive offset. I am not entirely sure when I went to discount tires they said when I turn the wheel to reverse the from rims scrapes the inside of the arm I think. He said the stock is 20x8.5 but the front rims I got are 20x10

Ask the vendor you bought from what is the offset value they sold you. Your wheel looks like it’s to close to the suspension for the 20x10 size. A lot of people run +23 on the front with the 20x10 wheel. It’s common to have no issues with this configuration on our cars with or without MRC.

I'm planning to go 20x10 front with a +23 offset soon myself, hope it won't need spacers. Will post back once I found out.

I just did this and had zero issues at all. +23 20x10 285/30 with MRC on my SS. Fit with no issues at all. Put about 200 miles on the car since install and I don’t miss the run flats.

The offset and size should be stamped on the inside of the rim. I bet a 5mm spacer would probably make it clear

Yeah the guy at discount said to get a 1” 25MM so should I probably go lower? I mean shoot I’ll feel more comfortable getting less than an inch honestly. This is the part I ordered.

Thanks for the confirmation, Trochoidal.

My only potential problem is I want to go 285/35 for two reasons, I need to go 315/30 in the rear and I fear the front/rear height difference would be too much with a 285/30, plus I already have the 285/35's and would hate to have to spend extra $$$ if not necessary...

I suspect you have the DR-64, if you purchased them from Discount Tires. They make the 20x10 in +23 and +35 offsets. I suspect they sold you the +35, which is far from ideal. If this is the case, I'd highly recommend convincing them to replace them with the +23, as you shouldn't have any fitment issues with that setup, depending on which tire size you went with. OEM fitment on the 1LE/ZL1 is 285/30/20 front and 305/30/20 rear.

Unfortunately I actually purchased the tires from facebook. I had just bought the CORSA Xtreme and only has $300 budget which is why I bought these rims. I am reaching out to the guy but hes not responding. I just recently got into the world of cars December and wonder what does +23, +35 offset?

I have 19x10.5 et22 and 305s up front. There's less than 5mm room between the rim/tire and the strut, but I've yet to hear it rub. 20x10 et23 shouldn't be an issue.

See that's what I was told by my friend! the issue only occurred on the right front wheel where it rubbed once I turned the wheel to reverse. I am trying to get the brand of the rims I purchased.
