Yeah. Unless it has been changed since the install, that was the CARB-intent kit, which comes with the 90mm pulley. Still - I believe Magnuson said it was right about 14-psi. It sounds like those blowers like closer to 20-or-so, from what I hear and see on the all-truthful interwebs.

The all-truthful interwebs... Yes, the 90mm pulley is for CARB purposes and it’s still on. Adding some go fast parts this week and then retuning with Ted. I’m going to wait until I can add fuel before going to a smaller pulley.

I'm really eager to see how this round of mods' works out because this was the direction I was planning on going.

That’s exactly what’s going on. Kooks, BG, 95mm tb and the JMS fuel pump booster. I’m having it remote tuned by Ted J so I will not get dyno numbers this time. This round was not necessary, and I’m not necessarily looking for a particular hp number, just wanted the sound of the headers and Rotofab. The next round will definitely be for more power, but that means a cam, injectors, low and high side fuel pumps and a flex fuel sensor.

We have done several 2650 swaps on ZL1's in the past month with similar supporting mods to you, plus headers, 85mm/stock lower and 90mm/5% lower pulley combinations. We see about 750 rwhp through a 10 speed auto at 16 psi, 6600 rpm on 93. You'll be 14-15 lbs at 6500 rpm, 16 psi if you take it to 6800 with that pulley combination. It should make an easy 700 rwhp on 93. The 2650 makes WAY less heat than the stock blower. Even at 15 psi you'll be 30-40 degrees cooler than the stock blower at 9-10 psi. You will loose some torque below 3000 rpm because of the way it ramps boost in. By 4500 though it will be up at least a 100 lb/ft over stock. I think it makes these cars way easier to drive on track. I can post up some dyno sheets when I get back to the shop on Monday if you're interested.

Thanks Matt for the input. You guys do a great job at Nickey and build some pretty bad ass rides for sure.

16 psi boost might be a bit much for 93 octane pump gas, for the road coarse. For the road coarse I would like to see closer 13-14 ish in limited to 93. On good fuel I would have no issue running it at 16-17 psi.

For road race use I would keep it below 15 psi like Ted said. 6800 rpm is no problem. For street and drag use we do send them out the door at 16 psi though. We had a shop ZL1 we did testing with and had no problems with those power, boost, and rpm levels for street use on 93 octane. That package on a pump/race gas mix we've pushed to 17 psi and 6900-7000 rpm. That will do 830 whp and high 9's on a drag radial in a full weight car. The 2650 really allows you to be little more aggressive with theses lt4's with proper tuning. So dialed back to around 700 whp will be a reliable road course setup.
