Here's my video from Track Night in America 08/10/2017. I only ran one 20 minute session. I sat out the first two sessions due to rain.
I managed a 2:08, but keep in mind it was my very first session ever and the track was damp. (Sorry about the wind noise. When the window is down it really messes with the PDR microphone.) |

2:08 is a good start! There are places you can definitely improve. I'm 3rd and 4th gear only, I would think wth the huge torque of the ZL1 you may be also. That'll help mitigate problems putting down power. The less the PTMgets involved the better, lol.
Looks like your entries are early, which Once into the corner you are trying to hit the apex with a lot more steering wheel, and that's why it is stepping out. I gotta go, I'll look at it again soon. That hot rod sounds wonderful!!!

I was playing around with the Cosworth Toolbox. For free software, it seems pretty good. I really like that you can compare laps to see where you gained/lost time.
Here are a couple of screenshots from the stats pages that go along with the video in post #29. |

(Sorry. Don't mean to hijack the thread.)
Here's a screenshot of the lap compare feature. It lets you select laps then click anywhere on the map for comparison or "play" to watch the run. You can watch the data comparison with the map, side-by-side video, etc.. |

That's some great stuff right there, Travis. More reasons for a Gen 6 purchase

My top speed was 117, keep in mind I'm on a 3.40 gear set. So do I keep the 10 and buy an 18 1LE, or trade it an get a ZL1? Kinda like the idea of having 2 Camaros.

The SS1le is a beast for sure. As comparison I was running 2:02's my last time at Pitt Race (vid on page 1 of this thread). There was still A LOT left in the car too. Though I'd imagine there was a lot left in Travis's times too. I still have my procharged '98 TA which I find no reason to get rid of. That was a big reason for me to get the 1le instead of a ZL1. TA is 595whp. I like the track awareness the 1le has. I don't think either is wrong or right, comes down to $$$ and preference really. I'm hoping to get out for September TNiA. Hope to see some of guys there then. The last time I was there there were only 2 other Camaros and they were in a different class. Would love to see some of the different lines someone else in comparable cars use at the that track.
And another thing, Cosworth toolbox is an awesome tech tool if you're looking at where and how to get faster!!

I want to signup for September too, but I'm back struggling between Novice and Intermediate. I had no trouble keeping up in Intermediate, but in order to get faster, safely, I think I need to slow down and work on running the correct lines. I'm thinking if I run upfront in Novice I should get at least a few good laps each session.
With a completely dry track and good lines, I'm pretty sure I can shave several seconds. |

I feel what you're saying, but think of it like this. Are you gonna get more benefit from practicing YOUR lines for a FEW laps or follow someone else's lines who maybe a little faster and more knowledgeable of Pitt Race for a few sessions? Dominating NOVICE drivers and getting frustrated with the traffic isn't gonna help your growth.
Just my opinion really.
