The creation of STORM
So I traded my 2015 1LT for the 2016 2LT RS...I sat in a friend's car and it was all over. I couldn't let it go. On January 9, I said goodbye to my first Camaro.
I've got a lot of plans in the work but I want to keep it classy so I chose Summit White w that aweSome Kalahari interior. I had to be somewhat different. |

Evolving...
My very first mods were to add Tint (it gets Hot in Texas), bring in some red accents w the GM RedHot hash marks and wrap the chrome grill parts in red. Oh, I had to add her name to the Fender. I was so excited to get that GM splitter. The evolution was beginning...

What are your plans for STORM?
I've gotten this question a lot since most know I traded my '15. Well, I saw the SEMA grill and had an idea since I knew there would be a wait. I'm not one that hates chrome but if you saw my car you might think different. We wrapped all the chrome accents in red. Then the bow ties stood out w the chrome accents...liquid vinyl wrap to the rescue.
Now, my silver OEM wheels w custom painted white center caps were bothering me. I needed wheels but which ones? I didn't want to go w the norm since I was really trying to be a different. Unfortunately I had to go w black wheels, I tried and tried to talk myself into being Bold and ordering red wheels but that just wouldn't work w me really going w a classy look. So, I chose Ferrada FR-1 wheels in matte black w gloss black edge. |

Well, I did quite a bit over the weekend.
First, I picked up STORM after a month of waiting for the 1st V6 supercharger to be installed on my car. I got the 1st Overkill Supercharger system and the drive from Florida to Texas was Amazingly Fun! Wow! During this trip home I drove up to Georgia to exchange trunklids w an SS owner; love the look. I had an AWESOME weekend. So thankful and truly blessed for it all. |

Need more fuel
Update
We finally got the cooler spark plugs installed. Took STORM over to a local Performance shop for some tuning via HPtune and and then we found out it needs an upgraded fuel pump. Runs out around 6200 rpm...Will is ordering an upgraded pump and hoping it comes in on Monday. Numbers are somewhat lower than expected because of the fueling issue. This is most definitely a Work in Process. 😉 |

Your Camaro is bad a$$! Like the look of the exterior mods on that color. Really drooling over the super charger though! I've been impatiently waiting for someone to post some numbers with that specific kit.
Two questions: 1. Considering you now know you also need a fuel pump to compensate the super charger, I'm interested in the overall cost (new fuel pump, plugs, and super charger system) if you don't mind sharing. 2. I'd also like to know if it's your daily driver? Thanks and good luck with the rest of your build. Looks bitchin' so far! |
