Hours to replace supercharger?

I'm going on day 2 for the Supercharger replacement at the dealer.
I saw the car go in at 10am yesterday, should I be worried?

Replacing the blower is like a 2 hour job max.

I'd agree 2 to 3 hours. Then purge the hx coolant.. That could take a bit of time but not days. An ADM base LSA kit installs in about 8 hours for a non SC car so that should give you context. Did they have to order the lower SC manifold?

I know they had to order all the parts, that was last week, parts came in and they called me to drop off the car. So I dropped it off yesterday about 9am and I waited until I saw the car go into the bay. I seem to recall that the "book" says 6 hrs, that's why I'm worried. LOL

Its likely not the only car the tech is working on. In an ideal world you would drop it off at 9 am for a 6 hour job and pick it up at 3 pm. But you have to factor in lunches, breaks, and to occasional waiter oil change or other vehicle that require immediate attention. If you haven't heard from them by closing time tonight then I'd worry.

Some dealers have specific techs that work on performance vehicles and they may be waiting for that tech to work on your car.

It depends on if it is done through the hood or by dropping the cradle. Andy at ADM would have been done on day 1 and then start another build.

I had mine off this past weekend in about an hour 1/2, I would guess around the same if not a little quicker when I get it back from porting and re installing it.

Got the car back at 2pm, YAY..
Waiting for it to cool down to make sure everything looks OK, I smell antifreeze but could have been spillage during the job. I want to double check the level.

Make sure your coolant pump for your SC is functioning properly. When I had this done I drove around for 2 months with the pump never working! They never burped the system and got the air out of it. I had to add a 1/2 gallon of coolant to get everything functioning properly. I would have never known until I was doing some work with Jannety and he pointed out to me on the runs he has us do for the email tuning that something was off with my IAT2 temps.

Why not? I've done it several times on my V in 2 hours or less in my garage and it has a more constrained engine bay than my ZL1 does.
