I think I saw a video of someone installing these and they were struggling, turns out they had one of the sections upside down. Try to make sure you have everything the proper way.

Mine was a pain in the ass as well but it eventually went together. I had to spray some lithium grease on the slip connections that are circled. The funny thing is the non resonated pipes would just slip right on. So, it's something to do with the resonated section changing the angle slightly that makes it a lot harder to slip together.

Gawd, I hate that when it happens! If simple wiggling won't bring'em closer (be sure to loosen all clamps), I'd flip the resonator section (#3) over and see if that gets you closer. It looks like the X-pipe section would be less likely to be oriented incorrectly.

Good luck and remember... you're having fun!!

Just wondering if you've resolved this and if you can provide insight to those with future issues?

In the handful of times I've jacked with slip fit exhaust joints it's not unusual that they dont expand their product quite enough or tolerances on the car of out of whack. I use one of these kits and it's kinda affordable to keep in your garage.

It's a lifesaver when youre under a car and things dont fit up as intended, it's you're only car and it's torn apart hahah

Call Borla up and tell them, maybe your pipes are made wrong? Maybe they will send you a new part.
