I actually used the ECS instructions (they are titled Vortech) to install my Vortech kit. (I bought it used for a solid deal!) I think the main difference is the head unit itself and little else if anything at all. I even called Chris at ECS a few times for assistance. Vortech is a pain to get a hold of at all.
This little blower got me 603hp and 547tq with a MAF tune on a mustang dyno. and I love the way it installed. The MAF tune was a challenge but my tuner got me set up very well. Very nice setup!

Most aftermarket kits in general are all based around the 7 psi range and all seem to be in the same ball park plus or minus a few. Even if mine was a happy dyno, it still is way above 505hp.

Would this even be worth getting on a daily driven 1le? in need of little more power my end goal is 750whp for this ride :P It's also really nicely priced... can't really beat that..

If you get the ECS kit that uses the Paxton 1500. I listed the differences in supercharger head units above. It will support 550-800whp

I agree. If I was to buy new, I for sure would go with the ecs kit with the 1500. You’ll get where you want to go with that.

Want to point out that with this drive system used on the Camaro, the practical limit might come from belt slip rather than the size of the supercharger. Before I bought mine, the ECS guy was saying the kit was good for 800hp. However he later revised his estimate to 700hp, probably due to the drive system rather than the size of the supercharger. Vortech does list a drive upgrade now, for over a thousand dollars.

The cog belt only goes from the jackshaft to the supercharger. The jackshaft though, is driven by the serpentine belt that also drives the water pump and alternator. THAT is where the belt slip is likely to occur on this kit.
