Speaking of won't do it, they won't put an lt1 in a blazer and call it a blazer ss. Won't do it.

Urban Legend, how many SUVs would GM sell with the LT5? Not many because the price would be outrageous and only a handful would sell. One thing people forget is the original price for the C7 ZR1 was around $180,000 and $200,000 with the Track package! The bean counters at GM know this and it wouldn’t be profitable for them to produce a car or truck with the LT5! My thoughts would be for someone to build one in a ZL1 or SS but even the crate motor is very expensive to buy.

It was not 180k. I looked at that car plenty of times.

I know you can’t order it. That’s to illustrate your 180-200k non sense. I have to discard what you say after that one. You didn’t even admit to bring wrong. Enough said. New one on the ignore list.

Fine with me! I was wrong and I will admit it as I’m an adult and a man! And it was a joke anyway about ordering one. Chill out!

If still rather have the C6 ZR1 at half the cost of that one.

GM can't sell Camaros for $30-70k, So I find it hard to believe they are going to build a niché LT5 version for the 1%.... Let me guess, next you'll want it with a manual transmission?

You'll likely see an electric Camaro before any of this LT5 nonsense.

GM is not going to spend any more major money on the 6th gen Camaro. They have sold all the way out to "an 100% electric future". And it would cost a non-trivial amount to put the LT5 in there and re-test and re-certify everything.

If that wasn't true before then its definitely true now since car sales are plummeting which means car makers are bleeding cash.

The next Camaro, if there is one at all, will be battery powered.

This really should have happened by now. I would not own a Jeep Grand Cherokee if GM offered something similar.

I bet the 7th gen ZL1 will get a version of the hybrid drivetrain that will be in the C8 ZR1 and/or "Zora" that's coming.

What am I missing. I know we can still run with the 700+ hp cars from Dodge and Ford but wouldn't it be nice to have 750hp?
Don't get me wrong I love my car..
Also I'm wondering if anyone has done it..
I skimmed most of the posts but missed it if it is there, but Hennessey did way more than the blower, he put in the entire LT5. Which is what you should do.
