Looks like a lot of mark up for the Ported SC/TB option in Stage 3. Isnt the SC $1275 and TB $650. The SC is already off the car for the cam swap, so how much labor is really involved.

You would just have to spec out the parts. See what you want others to do, see what you can do yourself. Hopefully, the "others" would do a good install. I think the Stage 3 is not terrible for other places I have checked. It is a little more but they do have a good "name".

I paid 2300 in labor and supplied my own parts for them to do this. (LPE cam, install trunion upgrade, phase lock out, new heads, new katech valley cover, changing injectors, lpe pump and setting the preload correctly with shims, head gaskets, prep work, water pump gaskets, chain, cam bolt, ls3 crank seal, push rods(included checking for proper length) pulley swaps, R & R blower, R & R tb install DSX pump)

$1150 Ported Livernois heads w Exh valves and extra work around valves
$350 katech valley cover
$107 Push rods BTR
$115 LS7 Hyd rollers
$170 CSE trunion upgrade

This should give ya and idea of prices.. you can reuse your LT4 fuel parts of course and I think a kong blower porting is in the 1100 range.

That is a good labor price!! I am guessing you had Matt do the work? He used to be an hour or so from me before leaving Florida.

If for now i don't do the 2650 like i want, but go ported route with components they used in the Stage3 i am guessing 7500 in parts. I could see another 4-5k in labor perhaps, but not sure 7500k is avg among the better shops in the country. Seems to high!

I cant find package pricing on their site, where did the prices come from?

The price quote was just for me...I not sure if I feel special or not. Maybe especially high. Rich sent me the quotes after several days of talking on the phone about what I wanted.

You can pretty much make one with a 2650. Obviously- no warranty but you can get those through some blower companies.

Doesn’t the LT5 have full-time DI plus Port-injection that supplements at higher throttle settings? I’ll assume it DOESN'T have AFM.
