RPM Whipple Upgrade

A few months after Race Proven Motorsports installed their Heads and Cam on my camaro 50th anniversary edition. I decided it was time to go back and get a Whipple Supercharger Installed. They did a great job. The car made good power, and has really good street manners. I decided to go the meth injection/E85 route and hold off on the high side fuel system for now to see how the car drove at this power level first. I attached the video of the car on the dyno. The dyno pulls are in 5th gear and the car is an A8 with a Circle D stall converter. They do the dyno pulls on my car at the beginning of the video. For people that are interested it gives you a good idea of what the Whipple whine sounds like. I listed the mods that have been done below.

RPM Heads and Cam package
Brian Tooley Diamond Pistons

Whipple Supercharger, pulleys 3.25 upper, 7 lower, making 10.9psi of boost
Pro Meth System
RPM custom low side fuel system, w Flex Fuel Sensor
Circle D Torque Converter

Kooks Headers 1 7/8 and full exhaust w/cats

102 mm Nick Williams Throttle Body
Roto-Fab CAI

That's all?

I was thinking you should be putting down 765HP at least....

Ok. I'm joking

Wow. Krazy build. How do you keep that back end from going sideways?

I'm running Pilot Sport 4S 305s on the rear. Those are doing surprisingly well with the roads good and warm. I need to upgrade to 315s in the rear once these wear out. It does ok, but you have to be careful. Especially if you go wide open throttle in 3rd gear or under. Overall it's tuned to have really good street manners considering the power levels.

Nice! I have 305/45/17 drag radials out back and I can punch it from 40 in 2nd with my Maggie at 800+whp and it sticks. The cars plant really well.

You have so much more room to grow with that Whipple! It's awesome.

Hope your bringing the Whipple to the Camaro Fest, really good numbers. Drag Strip is the true test.

Unfortunately I will not be able to make it down to Camaro Fest due to my work schedule. My next purchase are some suspension upgrades and drag radials. The tires I have on the car now are ok for a road course, but won't do well at the drag strip.
