GM Authority: 2018 vs 2019 SS 1LE comparison
Here's the article
There's also a poll which model looks better and right now they are both even with about 49% each. I attached the pic to this topic, in case of deletion at GMA

As with some others, the 2019 is growing on me. Only question I got is the 2019 is not a RS in this photo?
Edit: it seems to be a RS but the badging isn't red, so it's just got special badging. Last edited by Bumbleboy92; 08-12-2018 at 07:32 AM. Reason: Futhur looking |

I think in the new 1Le it gets the black SS , not sure if its a option or signifies its a 1Le. White SS =Non RS ,Red SS =RS , Black SS =1Le,SS,RS.

Good looking car but i have to admit i would shop for a 18 1LE over it. Im struggling with the bow tie placement on the front and the rear taillights look like swimming goggles.

This one kind of nails it down for me... 2019 is a definite improvement overall.
...also not 49% each. 49% 2019 40% 2018 |

I saw this yesterday and when I saw it both options said 2019. There is even someone who mentioned it in the comments so I don't know who much stock I put on that poll.

I get it. I understand why they did what they did on the 2019 design. I’m good with the non-SS front end. The SS is just too much oddity for me. They went too far. Should’ve used the non-SS front and just made very minor adjustments.

I think the voting was rigged at first since 2018 was not a option , give it a day or two . The 2019 does look really nice and its looks hold up well against the 2018 1Le , its going to be a good seller . One thing for sure with the 2019 is how much color effects its overall looks ,Black may be the biggest seller again.

Definitely would take the 2019 based on those pics. You can really see the lines on the hood better with flat wrap. It does look C7ish and raised higher compared to the older model, but that's okay. Would be curious to see how it would look with the black on the front bumper and side mirrors in flat black to match the hood.

Wonder why they blacked out the tail pipes on the 2019.
