Anyone here running the Borla carbon fiber tips? I wanted black crome but dont see that as an option for the Borla exhaust. I do kinda dig the carbon tips with the black effects. What is anyone's thoughts??

As of now, on the ZL1 there is only 1 product sku for the Carbon Fiber tips and that's with the black accents (140727CFBA=Carbon Fiber Black Accents)

I think they would look better if the silver part was also black. Like the knockoff Akra tips more.

Called borla they stopped making the black crome tips because you couldn't clean them without scratching it.
Not sure which center looks better black or chrome? Haven't really seen any around here.

When I was looking at getting a borla system, one of the guys at borla recommended against them. He said they only look good for a year or so and start looking bad. No personal experience, but that was a borla employee lol

I am so back and forth with my thoughts about an exhaust between different companies. Started with ARH full system then to corsa then to borla back to ARH and now back to borla. Only major reason i came back to borlas was the NPP. I still think out of the sound clips ARH sounds the best . But i would rather hear them in person

I had the Carbon Fiber axle back on my SS and loved them. I will eventually add them to my ZLE too.

I think they look sick. Borla just came out with the carbon fiber tips for our ZL1. Alot of sites don't even have it listed yet. I was concerned how they would hold up...
How long did you have them on your SS

Trust me when I say you aren't the only one. I had the same issue, but finally settled on the Borla ATAK catback because of the NPP function and cold starts. I was going between AWE, Borla and Corsa. It took a while to make the decision.
