Rpi chin spoiler + 6LE splitter or zl1 add ons splitter?

Will the zl1 add ons splitter or 6LE splitter work with the rpi replica GM splitter? I know the work with the GM one, it I didn't know if the RPI one was different enough for these to splitter extentions not to work. Let me know!

I don't see why not. It's pretty much an exact replica. You most likely have to drill holes into the splitter.

Right but I'm worried because the rpi one uses screws that screw into plastic and the GM one uses rivets. I'm thinking the rpi one will have issues if I attach something else to it. I was hoping rpi, ZL1 add ons or 6LE would reply with their thoughts as well.

I installed this exact combo on my car a few weeks ago. The 6LE splitter comes with its own hardware that has longer bolts that secure the splitter and the replica lip. It's a bit of a process. Had to widen a few holes to get the bolts through. I did not remove my bumper but it would definitely make things easier. And a second set of hands is also very helpful

How does the quality of the RPI replica splitter seem? I ate a raccoon last week and the employee price for just the GM splitter is 750 tax in....thinking the RPI may be a better option... any info greatly appreciated! (Thankfully only splitter was damaged)

Quality is decent. Underside of the RPI splitter is a bit rough. But you don't see it because it's underneath. If it were just the RPI splitter the install is fairly straight forward. Just remove the screws and place the splitter on the chin with the sticky tape provided and screw back in. But with the 6LE splitter you need to replace the clips that hold the lower fascia on. It takes some time to get everything lined up properly because the clips are on a flexible piece of the lower bumper and move around when you try to put the screws through. Hence the extra set of hands to hold things in place. I don't have any install pics but here is a finished shot

You need to resize the photo before uploading. Use one of the free resize photo sites on the internet. I always do that and have never had an issue. Resize by 50%

Definitely will work and we've since revised our hardware so you don't have to replace the clips.

I've changed the hardware on these things three times now lol. If GM would have only stuck with the M6 10mm they were using for 30 years life would have been much simpler lol!
