Minimum Whipple pulley size for 6 rib belt

Sorry if this information is somewhere else on the site - if so, I couldn't find it.

I am wondering what size Whipple pulley I can run on the 6 rib belt. I'm pretty sure 3.875 is okay but not sure about 3.75.

Anyone with some real experience with this?

I've used 3.625" on 6 rib with no slippage, had to use smaller dia belt & adjust pulleys, I have a 3.375 I'm gona try next at next meet.

That's perfect - thank you. My motor is still stock hence won't be going that small on the pulley, but it is good to know that I could go a bit lower without spending more $$ on an 8 or 10 rib setup.

I have been running 3.75 pulley with the six rib over 4 years. With many WOT pulls on it and no slippage.

I used the 3.750 with slippage I think because of the belt size. I just got a 3.625 and a shorter belt. I'love try soon and we will see
