Jeez... I think the most I would do would be hop out of my car and grab the person that scratched it. Running people down like that is way too far.

so CM uses their liberty of bike riding and free speech to take away someone else's liberty of safely driving according to the law... makes alot of sense...

Perfect. Maybe if more people did this we would have less arrogant bike riders in the way. There is absolutely no reason to do stuff like this, them getting run over is just as reasonable as them blocking streets and maliciously preventing people in vehicles from getting to their destination.
And really, if they paid road taxes and insured thier bikes then there would not be as big of a problem. Also it would help if they obeyed traffic laws like stop signs and shoulder checking.... Really, any bike rode on public streets should be plated and insured. You know what really works? A bit of pepper spray on the way by. The tight pants turd wont know what happened. |

That video was shocking and awful.
That aside. Never heard of Critical Mass before. Sounds like they're looking for trouble though. I'm tired of bikes on public roads. Around here they ride on the no-shoulder, hilly, curvy, county roads and block traffic with impunity. The county puts up "share the road" bicycle signs. Here's an idea: How about we share the licensing and excise tax burden. When a bike rider is paying hundreds of dollars to license his bike, then we can talk about his "right" to share the road. |

Here in Iowa we have ragbrai every year, huge bicycle race across the state. They change up the route every year though so that one town won't get hit with the huge amount of bikers every time. The one time they did come through my town, all the bikers that went by me were really respectful, lots of compliments on the car (back when I still had the Camaro).
When it's not rabgrai season, we have a really nice bike trail that spans a good amount of distance, so I don't see too many bikers on the roads causing issues.
