So true. I drove the my SS in heavy rain on the freeway yesterday. I'd promised a friend a ride and didn't want to back out, but I have to say it was WAY different than driving a normal commuter car/SUV. Had to be super careful. My advice on driving a Camaro in snow or ice is don't do it, especially not with the stock summer tires. For driving in snow/ice in general, follow what the previous posters have said. Be careful and stay safe!
