If they did build a Z28 with this motor, and figured out the limited production run needed to break even, and it was something affordable at $100K max like this, I think they would sell out fast and create a collectors car...
  1. Lighter weight materials wherever possible and affordable, like aluminum or fiberglass roof, hood and trunk (CF not affordable).
  2. C8 DCT Trans (if this adds too much weight and cost, A10 is good)
  3. Rear seat delete with roll bar like GT3RS
  4. Lightweight harness ready seats with manual adjusters (no motors, no ventilation or heaters)
  5. Option for AC delete
  6. Basic lighter weight speakers x 2
  7. Limited sound dampening material
  8. TTX Ohlins from GT4.R
  9. Big GT4.R size adjustable wing and bigger adjustable front splitter that can slide forward/back for track vs street (like M4 GTS)

I'd rather have that than a C8Z, but I would treat it opposite of a collector's car.

Yeah I would put a lot of track and canyon miles on a car like that, if they could get it down to 3400 lbs it could be special. The C8 motor might save weight, but the DCT is heavy.
