North Florida

Hey fellas/ladies... just got stationed in Jacksonville and I'm looking to see if anyone knows a good shop in North Florida...I know fsp and all but that's way farther drive than im looking for...(yes I know you have to drive sometimes for good shops... I'm not new to this game). Curious to see what's local and if anyone has any experience? All input welcome and thanks!

I took my car to Tuners Inc there in Jacksonville just to put it on the dyno. Good dude. I didnt get it tuned there (I remote tune with JRE) but I think he's probably the closest to you.

Browning Tuning Performance is in Moultrie, GA too.

FSP shut down shop a few years back and moved to TX. Disappointing, bc he was my guy for a while.
I got my last tune at Tuners Inc. Tony seemed like a good guy, but I've still got a CEL that we haven't been able to get rid of after coming back to him once more about it. We looked at all the codes and can't make sense of why the light's on. I'm not sure who else I can try since I'm not a native either, but I've decided I'm back in the market for a tuner as well.

If codes are not showing you may need to use a GM tech2 scanner.
As normal scanners and even HPtuners would not show my bad speed sensors.

interesting...i was under the impression that HPTuners would show everything. the DTCs seem pretty exhaustive.

fortunately i think my dad probably still has his tech2 (retired GM tech).

oh, for clarification...
when i turn the car ON, i see:
P0603 Internal Keep Alive Memory Error
P069E Fuel Pump Control Module
P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold

but when i start the car and clear DTCs the only one that reappears is P0420. which is super weird because that code is disabled in the tune after going turbo.

For the P0420, it might be disabled, but set to report. If you uncheck SES Enable box, and then choose No Error Reported, it wont show up.

If you download the tune from the car with the latest beta version of HPTuners, you'll have the option to read the FPCM. I dont know what you have done to your car, but I dont use my fpcm, but its still connected to report my fuel pressure to the ECM. I had to license the FPCM, in order to Tune out some FPCM related codes. I think one of them was P069E.

Basically cost me $50 to not have a CEL.

Tampa Tuning. Phil fixed all my tune issues that Jacksonville tuners couldn't. I'm doing. GPI cam right now and will have Ryan do a remote tune. I don't trust anyone in Jacksonville and I lived here for 20 yrs.

I recommend going elsewhere than Jacksonville for your tuning needs

Don't even remember how many pulls we did but Phil spent over 2 hrs with me on the street fixing my tune.
