Great, that's what I was looking for. Thanks for the help!

Thanks man, but I don't think I want to go that direction.

After listening to a bunch of sound clips, I think I am committed to the midpipe solution. Does anyone have any sound clips of the Borla 60606 midpipe connected to the stock npp mufflers?

It seems to produce a sound comparable to the rest of the NPP exhaust options.

After all of the back and forth, I ended up going with the Flowmaster American Thunder NPP. It seems to be the best sound in terms of depth and most effective NPP functionality. I'll let you all know what I think!

TBH, if budget is a concern, I still don’t see anything wrong with the FlowMaster system. I almost went with that myself, but because I was installing headers too, I decided to go full Stainless Works. Very happy with my decision, but for a stand-alone system, the FM is good stuff too!

I have the Exact same system and love the way it sounds. I did get rid of the AFM and had my ECU reprogrammed for that.

Please do. I love my NPP but after 2 years I think the tonal quality is too flat. I like a rich round sound if that makes sense.

My favorite exhaust was my 2005 GTO with factory pipes, x pipe where the resonator was- and Magnaflow 16 inch muffs replacing the factory ones. It had an exotic note like a Maserati Quatraporte. Our X pipe is too far back in our systems to be really effective.

I will for sure, I never put this much research into my last few cars, but for some reason with the NPP option, the sound was just so much harder to get right (mainly - depth). My thought was that if I ever desire anything louder, I'll add the Scavenger X pipe and secondary cat deletes, while still maintaining the ability to quiet it down on the highway.

The American Thunder system actually seems pretty cool. Super 40 mufflers on the quiet side and Outlaw mufflers on the valve side.

I went with the same setup, but I did add the Scavenger X pipe as well. Even though the axle back was nice and deep, I wanted deeper still. Now it's really deep and a nice tone and kick ass on WOT!

I have no drone from it, and it just sounds good! I know from Moto Fire that this set up will also accommodate me adding headers (KOOKS)to the car without any modifications.

I think down the road that is what I'm going to add as well! I didn't want to do everything all at once this time, I didn't rush the process at all (maybe I was too slow...)

It should arrive today and I'm going to get it installed at some point this week.

Yeah I put the axle back on first and waited about a month or so and then ordered the Scavenger X pipe and very happy I did! I had the CAI on before all of it, just adding things in stages since I had no ones lead to follow.

This is the route I went. Except I first did the Borla midpipe and later added the FM American Thunder. I'm very happy with the exhaust, and the NPP functionality.

We'll see what happens when I add headers down the road!
