Paint question

What are these little tiny “specks” in my paint? I have been going over my paint with some meguiars ultimate compound with a porter cable DA and it seems to be taking them down, slowly. Feels smooth, clay won’t touch it. Obviously my paint has other issues but if you can tell form the pictures.. these specks are everywhere. Any idea what these are or how to more easily get rid of them?

They are rust....From rail dust when your car was delivered…… You need to wash the car with this.... it will "de-iron" your car

Well i ordered some.. should be here next week. Per suggestion on the auto geek forums I’m going to try some meguiars dub wheel cleaner for the time being that I can grab at the local Auto parts house. According to them it will do the same job if the iron contamination isn’t too severe.

Update: meguiars “dub” wheel cleaner- the kind that turns red when you let it dwell (like iron-x) did an unbelievable job at removing these spots. I’ve only done one small section of the car, to test, but I sprayed, waited, and rinsed. Looked like my car was bleeding! Rail dust is completely gone in this section! Good stuff.
Thanks for the help guys
