Side marker quality and suggestions

What side markers have been working good and not burning out? Looking to buy some.

Cool yea I’ve heard diode are good quality. Just didn’t want to buy oracle or some others and then have them start to burn out in a month. Prob will blackout my stock ones after I switch them out for the new ones so I have the originals ready to put back in if I have any trouble with the LED’s.

I've had the Diode Dynamics and have had one rear leak water and fail, the replacement failed (no leak) and now both of my front ones half the segments are burnt out. That said they replaced the two rears without question, I've given up on them. If I replace them again it's going to be eBay for $40, I could buy four sets for what I paid for the DD.

Yea I’ve been hearing that most of them act up. I’ll try one set for the cool factor then just put the blacked out stock stuff back on later if I have issues. No biggie!

Not sure what color you were going for, but I've had mixed results with the strip LED ones as well. So I went a different route last time around. I went with these the clear lenses that take a standard bulb, then I put colored LEDs in them. If the bulb blows in them it's a 5 Second fix, and they make the entire lens lights up in color. Which is kind of cool.

Diode dynamics have a 3 year warranty I think. I bought a pair used and they still honored the warranty for a burnt one

Cool, like the clear ones! I’m down with using easy to fix stuff. I had good success with nightshade tint. Lasted 6 years on my charger lights. Lot better than burning out a month later lol! I’m gonna give them a go. Easy mod so no big deal. Thanks for the suggestions.

I bought the tinted "factory" style lenses that take standard bulbs. I think the smoked lens looks better than tint or paint, and honestly I'm just not a fan of the look of LEDs.

I like that idea! Factory smoked no LED. If you don’t mind my asking where did you get yours from? Didn’t see much smoked oem style out there. Thanks

You'll need to buy red and yellow 194 bulbs as well, since the factory bulbs are white, and colored by the actual lenses themselves. I bought a 10 pack of each for $6 bucks. Just search 194 bulbs or heck, you could probably pick em up at the local parts store.

I like this idea too. My LEDs are crapping out and may go this route. Do they also act as reflectors? I couldn’t tell from the description.
