Stainless Works - 6 Weeks And Counting

I am honestly so frustrated with Stainless Works and the amount to time they are taking to fabricate and ship my exhaust.

I ordered my complete cat back system on December 4th and it has still not shipped. I have been given 3 ship dates and 2 of them have been cancelled with the typical "busy with orders", "holiday delays" and "takes long as they are built to order".

To me, waiting this long is totally unacceptable especially since I also paid upfront in full.

Never again will order from them.

Take it to the vendor/seller section.

Sucks, order it from their website?

Ordered from Wheelwell but apparently when it comes to SW they do direct fulfillment. I am sure it's the same with many vendors and manufacturers as well.

Guess you get what you pay for. I am honestly sick of being jerked around by either Wheelwell, Stainless Works or both.

Totally unprofessional.

I am at the point where I am not sure I even want it anymore but I can tell you for sure I will never deal with either company again.

What's funny is I previously bought an MBRP for a different car... Had it in 2 days as well.

And they are supposed to be considered a lower end brand... Pathetic.

They definitely shouldn't be promising dates they can't hit, but 6 weeks for a build-to-order catback doesn't actually sound that bad to me.

This reminds me of an issue I had last year with a vender who supposedly ordered my part through BMR, but when I contacted BMR they never got the order, if they had gotten the order they would have sent it out, so I kept getting the run around until I got my parts after sending numerous emails just the bug the crap out of them.

Here is the problem.. They never said anything about it being a build to order system until after they had full payment. Then they told me it would take no more than 2 weeks. Then the backed up excuses after 2 weeks passed. Then the holiday excuses. Then the holiday excuses again.

Enough is enough... If that's the case don't bill me until it's ready to ship.

Shady Shady business practices

took like 2.5 months for the LPE fuel pump, 1.5 months for the Kooks header, 1.5 months for the CA front cat deletes. Lucky I have long lead times and just drive as is..

My ATAK took a bit. Ordered through Wheelwell too. Talked to Borla and it was on their end. Holiday and end of year stuff are real. I'm pleased with pricing and service from Wheelwell.

Time? Like 7 weeks from order. Borla also had to wait on tips--fairly common.

My 60606 was in stock and arrived week from order--wheelwell also.

The issue seems to be that they are telling people it’s being shipped then just not delivering. Good business is to tell people a valid ship date but I guess that’s just not happening with this company and the customer service.

Another reason I paid the premium for ARH

Be patient its worth the wait. I have Stainless Works headers and full NPP exhaust. It sounds great.
Try to call Stainless Works they are very friendly. I had mine installed right at the manufacturing plant in Cleveland.
